I ordered from Amazon on 1st October for Prime one day delivery. Was sent a message on 2nd October with a time slot by my driver Issam. Time slot came and went and was then sent another message to say that delivery was delayed but would still be attempted that day. Another message came to say that they had missed me and that my parcel was at a collection point- a Premier shop miles away from my address. I then received another message to say that delivery had been attempted but they had missed me but the message was sent 40 minutes BEFORE the alleged attempted delivery and AFTER the message which said that the parcel had been left at the collection point. On 3rd October I got a message to say that my delivery would be attempted and later received another message to say that delivery had been attempted but they had missed me and this was sent 20 minutes BEFORE the time of the alleged delivery! When I looked at the tracking advice, they had had the nerve to say that "Customer had requested that the parcel be taken to the collection point" when I had had no communication with this company at all. No attempts were made to deliver this parcel as we were in all day and DPD certainly came nowhere near my address. I have contacted Amazon who have allegedly spoken to DPD but, to date, I have had neither parcel nor refund. I wish Amazon would state at point of purchase who would be delivering the order as I would just not order anything that was going to be delivered by DPD. In our village and surrounding ones they are known on the village Facebook pages as Disastrously Poor Deliverers. Awful company. Completely dishonest and useless!
