Ordered an item from Ryobi paying a delivery charge for home delivery. Received the text from DPD giving the 1 hour delivery window slot.Was in when the driver arrived but by the time I got up the stairs to open the door he'd gone leaving the infamous note telling me to pick it up from my local pickup shop.A Costcutter shop in Plymouth,Devon where I was given another time slot to collect it. I live across the water in Cornwall.The journey would take over 40 minutes to get there. A double irony is that the driver would have to pass through the area I live and where a more suitable Costcutter shop is.Phoned DPD distribution centre at Roche and a helpful woman said they would redirect. Then received another message saying it was to be delivered to Plymouth. Phoned them again and spoke to a woman who should be the stereotypical example off how not to run Customer Services! Didn't want know or apparently care! Phoned Ryobi, cancelled the order and am now awaiting a refund. Sadly Ryobi's loss and a lesson learned by me never to order goods that are delivered by this shambolic company
