I waited in for delivery and got the message that I had missed it! We have a very loud bell and a dog who barks if a bird lands on the drive!
The next day I waited in once again & followed the progress of the van on my phone. 15 minutes before the van was due I stationed myself at the window. Within a few minutes I got the message that I had missed it! Again!!
I rang the company from whom I was purchasing and they kindly rang DPD to find out what was going on. Apparently the driver had gone to the wrong house! Number 4 instead of number 8 🤔. He would however, deliver later in the day. It is now 6 15 & we are still waiting. It would have been quicker for us to go and fetch these goods ourselves!
In future if companies are using DPD for their deliveries I will probably find an alternative.
