Driver took a picture of my front door but did not knock the door or ring the bell. Then he left the missed you flyer outside on my doorstep. I was home, windows open just a few feet from the door so know he never knocked nor rung the bell. I contacted customer services and was told I’d be charged £2 a minute. When I received my phone bill they charged me £101. Apparently I had called a third party number but although I was complaining to DPD customer services about the cost of the call no-one gave me an alternative number to call. I asked for a manager to call me back no one called me back. I wrote to the CEO to have the matter looked into so I could get a refund for the cost of the calls. I was referred to the SLT team who have so far refused to help me. No apology offered either. I am now following a line of enquiry with the consumer helpline through citizens advice. I have also emailed the CEO again and am awaiting a response. I will never use DPD again. Nor will I order goods from a third party who uses DPD. I ordered my goods from Ugg so am utterly disgusted by all this.
