Throughout lookdown I rated DPD ten out of ten and the odd query was quickly dealt with by very efficient UK based customer service. Recently however I was brought a delivery from one company which was logged not as one consignment but each item in the consignment was logged individually with a time delay before the next item could be scanned As there were a number of items this was a total waste of time
I was very busy that day and had an appointment and didn’t have time to wait so I asked the driver to bring the delivery back the next day as one consignment. Without notification my delivery was returned to the sender Since then DPD has sent back every one of my deliveries without even attempting delivery
Despite spending over four and a half hours (yes that’s right) on the phone to their customer service team in South Africa and having been promised returned calls which have not happened I have been unable to speak to anyone in the UK to get to the bottom of this problem
