Would give zero stars if I could. Actually maybe minus 5 stars!
Paid extra to have delivered at a specific time we would be in. Travelled back early from a weekend away to meet the parcel as my daughter was excited to receive her first musical instrument. Due to ‘unexpected issues’ they were unable to deliver. I was not notified they would not be delivering and would have been left waiting all after had I not checked the app.
Called customer service who refunded the extra I had paid but could not rebook the VIP parcel. UTTERLY USELESS customer service just kept saying I can only have one VIP service per parcel. I hadn’t actually had the VIP service as they had failed the delivery but apparently was not allowed that service again! They then said they would deliver Monday when I will not be in. Customer service just kept repeating same line over and over again. I kept repeating I needed the VIP service as needed to specify a time I would be in as the parcel needed a signature and they kept saying it would be Monday WHEN I CANNOT BE IN!!! When I became agitated (whilst still polite) the customer service person simply hung up. Absolutely disgusting service!!
I would recommend using any other delivery service. I’ve had poor service from most but DPD is the absolute worst! No idea when, if ever I will see my parcel!
