This is the third day in a row that my driver seems to have experienced delays delivering my parcel to the DPD pickup location I selected. I called customer service today to find out how they haven’t been able to make it in 3 consecutive days and apparently it was because the place was closed and the driver took a picture to prove it.
Let me just state that the location I chose is a 24hr/365 days a year petrol station that is always open.
I just so happened to be walking on the same road during the call so when the call ended I decided to see if it was closed. I walked in and asked the clerk if they had been closed for the past 3 days and he looked confused and said no they are always open they never close, hence operating 24hrs.
The driver has clearly lied about my delivery and I suspect is up to no good. I will also be chasing compensation for being blatantly lied to.
Do not use DPD unless you have no other possible option.
Service is despicable, what a way to kick off the new year!
