If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I used DPD to return x2 toilets worth £279 & paid over £28 for delivery. When booking the delivery, I labelled the items as TOILET PANS. They were packaged in their original packaging (unopened from Victorian plumbing), with fragile tape. The boxes displayed multiple large pictures of toilets on each box, with big letters METRO PAN along with the toilet dimensions, so the contents of the boxes were VERY clear. The receiver sent me pictures of the state of both of the boxes, dirty, ripped & crushed externally, and inside, the toilets were smashed to smithereens. At least 50 pieces each. I raised a claim & was told via an automated message that there is nothing they can do as they were prohibited items. However, at no point in the buying process was I directed to prohibited items. Why accept the contract if they are prohibited?! ZERO care was taken with the parcels. Trying to get hold of DPD is nigh impossible - chat fails, automated phone number takes you to the depot and round in circles, then get through to B2B which isn't the right dept, whatsapp doesn't handle these queries, customer service is useless & won't put you through to claims, no emails work... So I've lost hundreds of pounds. Will NEVER use DPD again. JOKE of a company. AVOID.
