The package was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday, however the driver attempted delivery at the wrong address, I know this because the picture he attached to the failed delivery was not my house. I called DPD customer service and they told me they would attempt to deliver it again that day before 8 pm, but it did not arrive. I was told it will be delivered the next day. I saw the delivery driver approach my door. He scanned the label from his pocket, took a picture of the front of my house, and started walking off. I managed to stop him, he told me that he hadn't been given my parcel as the depot could not find it and they told him to take the label, scan it, take a picture of my house and record it as an attempted delivery so they can at least be paid for the attempted delivery. I spoke to DPD over the phone again and they spoke to the depot and informed them they could not find my package that morning. This is very disrespectful, If they had lost my package they should have informed me and not made false attempts at delivery just so they can get paid. After theyve been caught out the cancelled my delivery and somehow magically found the package to send back to the sender. I think they just scanned a return label and faking a return which will magically get lost so that they dont get caught. Does anyone know where i can make a formal complaint?
