DPD's reputation is a myth. This company is really rather terrible.
The delivery driver 2 weeks ago demanded I help them because how dare me order 4 boxes (not heavy in the slightest), the driver was upset because why should he make 2 trips to my door?" was what he was muttering.
I called DPD about this experience, the lady on the phone suggested that their drivers have the right to deliver parcels if there are more than 1 box per address. The horror.
So today I can only assume the same driver fake attempted my delivery that was due between 12.08pm and 1.08pm- I was at home waiting for this parcel. Close to 1pm I check tracking update...
It has been updated to 'parcel has been refused'... by who???!!!
This behaviour from your drivers is unacceptable DPD.
For the longest time I have often wondered why Hermes/Evri bigger than DPD- well it is becoming abundantly clear.
Did you know you cannot drive a van that is 5 years old to deliver DPD parcels. Someone explain to DPD it is not the condition of the van that makes customers happy. Absolutely pathetic, but it is 2024 customer service is in extinction.
