Delivery driver never turned up. Customer service tried to insinuate that the driver did everything correctly as he “took a photo on the premises”, which left me having to angrily explain that just because he took a photo of the premises does not mean he rang the doorbell or attempted collection.
Since this is the second time this has happened for the same delivery (and same driver). I assume the people that I interacted with lack critical thinking skills and should probably not be in their positions of responsibility (who would’ve thought a delivery driver needs to ring a doorbell).
The first time round customer service advised me to buy another label to get another collection, which was ridiculously unhelpful. The second time round they told me to contact DPD-local but couldn’t provide a phone number, email or website to do so.
