I have had a bad experience with DPD every time - I wish brands would stop using them!! Few months ago I had to wait over 2 hours at the depot for my parcel when the driver said he would be 20 mins, but he decided to go home for a bit before coming back to the depot!! This week I asked for parcel to be sent to DPD pick up shop because I knew I wouldn’t be able to receive it at my house because I work all week. I get to the pick up shop on Saturday and look at the tracking email to find it’s not been delivered to pick up shop, it’s still at the depot and will be delivered to my home on Monday! I don’t want it delivered to my home. I had no communications about this change. I called them and they said they changed it because the contract ended with the pick up shop - thanks for letting me know beforehand? What’s worse is that they charge you for calling them, when 99% of the time you are calling them because they have made a mistake.
This company are so poor, I’m considering avoiding brands which use DPD in the future because I never have a good experience.
