Today was the 5th time this month a package has failed to be delivered to my house. Drivers claim that no one was home during the delivery slot, but this is a complete lie. It's the same pattern every time.
I'm not sure what the issue is as all other companies deliver successfully on time. My guess is that either DPD drivers are cancelling slots on purpose due to unachievable delivery schedules or that they just can't be bothered. Customer service is equally dismal.
I'm not sure whether the blame is on individuals who work for the company or the company itself and the conditions that are set for DPD workers. It seems that DPD as a company that set ridiculous delivery schedules promising the earth and under-delivering, forcing employees to have to resort to these tactics of cancelling delivery slots to keep up with the schedule and avoid penalties or repercussions from DPD.
This is simply the worst delivery service and one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with.
