My family and I just visited store #310171 in Ocala, FL , and experienced the worst customer service I have ever encountered. First, we had to repeat our order of 2 iced coffees several times through the drive-thru. The girl taking our order could be heard talking and laughing to other employees, so she did not listen to us order. She asked three times if it was hot or cold and was told three times: "cold." We get to the window, and a guy brings over hot drinks. We told him we ordered iced, and he turned to tell someone that we ordered iced. The girl (I assume Michele because that is on the receipt) said, "Well, he had such an attitude. Just tell him to pull and make him wait." Then, an elderly woman in a pink shirt came to the window to tell us to pull up; my husband refused as there was no one behind us and no one inside, and I told her we ordered iced drinks and were given hot. She proceeded to argue with what we ordered and 'said it's loud in here, we can't hear over the intercom." She wanted to know if we had already paid because if not, we could leave. We had already paid, but my husband refused to leave without our drinks. Someone then pushed two iced drinks out the window. We did not receive the drinks we ordered (peppermint mocha and holiday cookie); instead, we received plain coffee over ice. I have never written a complaint before to a company, and I understand how difficult customer service can be. However, the experience we just had at that store was utterly unacceptable. I am sure that nothing will come of this email, but I am hopeful that additional training will be provided to Michele (324205) and the 'manager' on how to work with customers and apparently get the intercom fixed since they can't hear it or maybe actually listen to the customer. The service was terrible, and the product received was worse. I am highly disappointed in Dunkin and will instead seek other options when in the area.
