Using the DX tracker, my new mattress (with next day delivery) was shipped from Southampton to my near by depot(gretna) on a Wednesday. Thursday then showed it was placed onto outward van for delivery. I waited in all day, But no show. End of Thursday, my order showed on tracker that item was scanned back into Gretna depot.
Same results on the friday, and saturday.
Monday came, not movement. So tried to phone DX. No one picking up.
So tried their online chatline. After filling in the necessary online questionnaire, their system showed no one available to chat with me. So i sent DX a complaint email
Tuesday morning, i get a text and email to state that item WILL be delivered between 08:00 and 18:00. So again, i stayed home all day, didnt do anything to miss the dx van arrival. Its now 19:02, still no show.
Not happy. At all. So checked tracker. It shows item as being at Southampton. I could be wrong, but unable to get hold off DX for an update. I even spoke to a kind chap on the phone who sold me the mattress, even he could not get through to DX as no one answering the phones.
Having read other reviews ref DX, and having used other couriers such as Hermes and DPD, then DX need to come out of the nineteenth century. I can see why there are so many negative reviews ref DX. At least with DPD, they use a live van tracker /location app, plus the driver keeps us updated.
Come on DX. You cannot treat customers like this. Dont tell us you are on your way, then get abducted by aliens (might aswell as since then dont update us)
Will put another / updated review on when a Dx van actually appears at my door
