DX driver marked my parcel as "delivery attempted, card left". But it turns out the truth was, that he couldn't find my house (even though the house name is on a sign on the street) and so he just checked it off as delivery attempted and returned it to depot.
I got a nice & prompt apology from the complaints department at DX who admitted this is what had happened, but no explanation of what retraining or disciplinary action the driver would face. They asked me to draw a map to email them, to help the driver find the house.
They said 'these things happen' with a business. Well, they shouldn't. Raise your standards out of the gutter, DX.
I've lived here for 15 years and every other delivery driver can follow a postcode search then pick which one of four cottages has the right name sign outside.
