On Nov 21st I ordered 5 doors from B&Q to be delivered within 4 days. I heard nothing until November 29th when I received an email from the supplier, Jeld Wen, that the doors had been dispatched. On December 2nd I was called by B&Q to confirm that the doors had been delivered, I told them they had not and that I have not been contacted by either Jeld Wen or DX.
Today is the December 4th and I decided to phone B&Q to find out what is going on, they contacted the supplier and got back to me. B&Q told me that the doors were on their way and gave me a tracking number, the tracking information tells me the doors will be delivered on December 2nd, two days ago.
It is now 4:25pm on December 4th and there is still no change to the tracking information, the impression I get is that they just don't care. If the doors don't arrive tomorrow, December 5th, I will cancel the order and rent a van to pick the doors up from B&Q myself, DX will be getting the bill for the rental and my time.
You might be thinking I am getting worked up about a delivery being two days late but, as I said at the start, they were ordered on November 21st and I expected delivery in two days, it is now two weeks.
