DX are far and away the worst delivery company in the country.
My original delivery date was missed as I apparently did not answer my door. This is impossible as as I was physically home all day, sat working by the door.
Subsequently every single one of the 5 redelivery dates has been missed, with the items never leaving the depot. Not that I would know this, however, as it is apparently DX policy not to inform customers when a redelivery wont be going ahead (as stated by one of their online help reps). Every single time I have had to wait in their (long) online help queues, just to confirm that DX have deemed my items not worth delivering.
I don't understand how DX can expect anyone to take multiple days off of work waiting for a delivery, only to repeatedly fail to do their job. Never in my life have I experienced such an appalling lack of care from a company.
In almost any other industry this degree of sheer incompetence would be completely unacceptable; so why then does DX deem this to be acceptable.
I would strongly urge any B2C companies to avoid sending anything via DX, as they are sure to turn the entire experience into a nightmarish ordeal.
