eBay customer service continues to fail on all categories. Complete waste of time to try and resolve issues. Doesn’t matter if it is chat, email or by phone. Buyers can rip you off and eBay will keep them happy. Just had a buyer return a piece of yellow foam and eBay refunded him the purchase price. You cannot do anything about buyers taking advantage or leaving negative feedback. They talk condescending to sellers and thank you for understanding, when you know their explanation makes no sense. The only advice they can give you is to block buyer from purchasing future items, so it does not happen again. eBay has no leadership in customer service, policies to help sellers, and making it harder harder to contact service reps who could care less. They use to have descent reps that could help sellers, but now have clueless reps that must be looking at templates, because they do not understand problems.
