I am so disgusted with ebay that I have started the account closure procedure. Absolutely crazy to keep selling on such a site. The commissions are very high and as a seller you have no protection. I leave aside all the cases of people who tried to scam me with the excuse of the object not received (when the tracking shows the opposite) or object not according to description. Scammers are everywhere: what is not acceptable is that ebay takes zero actions against scam attempts or verbal assaults, despite lots of evidence are provided. The straw that broke the camel's back was the case of an American, who bought a football shirt from me, and already the day after the shipment, started to send an avalanche of messages about the status of the shipment, becoming message after message violent and intimidating. At some point I stopped responding and in response I received negative feedback (with insane language even there) basically 2 days after I sold the item. I reported the customer to ebay and asked them to remove the negative feedback and take action against this user. They did nothing. I saw on the page of this person (who is also a seller) two negative feedbacks within a week (one also complained about the aggressive / intimidating tone of the user). So this is repetitive, not a single episode. Ebay will definitely do something I thought. Result? After a week the person in question no longer had negative feedback and was with 100% positive feedback. Ridiculous... Ebay has no standards, as long as you pay your commissions you can be the worst scammer, you won't suffer any consequences.
