eBay shut down my accounts with an email informing me I had abused eBay's buyer policy by not returning items I had raised returns for. Firstly that statement is incorrect and secondly why would you not return an item you want refunded?! I dedicated 9 months to building up my business buying and selling jewellery on eBay. With one email eBay stopped my main income stream and ruined my reputation (I had sales and refunds in progress). I am now treated as an outcast and can't even get through to speak to anyone that can review my case. Buying occasionally from eBay is probably fine if you know what you are doing i.e in order to avoid fakes and scams. But don't ever assume your relationship with eBay will be a long one as they can dump you quickly with no explanation!
