My first selling experience using this service has been a real eye opener. First time seller meets first time buyer. Seems Ebay has zero responsibility to verify that new customer's account information provided is actually correct. Their name , mailing information, etc. ex. goes completely unchecked. They can make a purchase & then claim they never received it because the postal code is wrong in their account. The buyer has zero responsibility ensuring the proper info has been entered into their account by them. The onus is on the seller to provide tracking info when the item is sent even though that may not be feasible fiscally, though, & even though the mailing address is bogus, you, the seller must prove it was at least set to that wrong address, or a refund is due to the person who has plainly committed fraud. It is, however, not Ebay's responsibility to actually ensure the person's validity when opening an account on their site, which they exact all kinds of charges to use. lol What hypocritical baloney & sheer utter nonsense. Can't believe anybody still sells on this sorry excuse for a system.
