Having waited for delivery well beyond the date on the confirmation email I rang the customer service people and was told that the item was out of stock until the begining of the following week. Why someone could not have informed me of this situation, as a customer, makes me think that they really are not bothered once they have your money. To make matters appear even worse, on the day when new stock was supposed to arrive at the warehouse, I actually got delivery of my order. I feel I was,at best, misled and at worst, lied to.
I don't mind waiting a reasonable time for an item I have ordered but it would be nice if someone had the decency to inform a customer of any delays and not the customer having to spend time and money chasing their order.
