Bought 3 fruit trees. Arrived promptly. One didn't take. Eckman instantly replaced. Couldn't ask for more.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.. totally let down and disappointed by Eckman. I ordered a new bag for my garden vac/blower. On arrival it had a square attachment unlike the one in the description and picture on the website that I ordered. Cost £14.99 with £6 delivery. Item not as advertised or described yet Eckman expect me to return at my own cost (£4/5) in order to get the £14.99 back as they don’t refund any postage, on top of that no apology for their mis-leading description/pictures.

Awful. They have shared my data and I get upsetting offers of funerals and cremations all the time. This is a DISGUSTING company and a disgrace.

Bought leaf blower/vacuum/ shredder 18 months ago direct from Eckman (Order OR1115506), but not reviewed till now as I wanted to thoroughly test it out over a time, and last autumn was unusually dry here so not a good test. Was £49.99 then, £89.99 now - certainly wouldn't buy it for that as it really doesn't do the job. Site/ordering was fine and delivery good; no problems with machine as such - all parts received and seems pretty robust. They say it's powerful - certainly is; too powerful - picks up stones and soil (I see current version has a gravel filter so maybe that would stop much of this, though not the soil and smaller stuff - see below) It is hopeless with wet leaves (and how often do you get sufficient dry days in autumn/winter for them to dry out? It does say don't vacuum damp/wet materials in the instructions (how useless is that?), but didn't say that in the advert) - they too easily clog, even if you cut out the unnecessary vanes which narrow the opening to the collection bag. And you can't easily get at the places they clog except by taking the blower tube off, which they say you should do from time to time but one of screws is, as booklet says, one-way!! Even then you can't properly reach all the places that clog. The 'mulching turbine' (i.e. shredder) does work really well in reducing volume, but it throws small shredded bits of leaf/soil/whatever to the housing around it a couple of cm away. I had to dig out a large amount of compacted material from this when it was clear the motor was having to work too hard, and the only way to do it is to take the main body apart. The design of this doesn't seem to have changed, so it's hardly user friendly.

Product was fine, but have been plagued by phone calls ever since as they sell your info on. I have asked numerous times to be removed from these but still get them. Getting more and more frustrating

Garden arch and gate was easy to put together. Arch ok. The gates were rubbish one gate had the hinge lug missing completely and when lowering the other gate into the socket the lug dropped off. The weld was non existent.wont be using this company again.

Ordered a set of fruit trees. Now keep getting phone calls offering me discount vouchers if I pay £69 to join, have said I am not interested and take me off the list for phone calls.... still getting phone calls

Technical support woeful - I asked if I could buy a brush kit for the motor on my long reach trimmer and was supplied details of yard brushes !!!!! Second time asked for tightening torques for blade Allen screws and was told they don’t sell my model anymore. This are both incompetent replies

I bought one of their 9ft 2in telescopic hedge trimmers just over two years ago and the handle that you use to extend and retract the telescopic arm just keeps turning and won't fix the arm in any one place so that it doesn't move. It was good whilst it worked properly but I've only used it maybe 3 or 4 times in the 2 years that I've had it. So I'm now left with an extendable hedge trimmer that I can't extend, as I've contacted customer services and they don't do any replacement parts. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS IT WILL NOT LAST.

The catalogue seemed good enough, and I’d ordered something small before, so I decided to order some more items. Part of my order was delivered, in packaging that could have been sone by a pair of monkeys let loose with a roll of sticky tape and some cardboard. The second item never arrived, although I received two weird communications which I initially took to be spam, but which I now realize were probably connected to my order. The first was a text with no sender identification saying my goods could not be delivered as no one answered the door, asking me to click a link. I reported this seemingly phishing text to the police. Then I received an email from drgplc, a domain which on checking is currently available for sale, so again I smelled a rat. As Eckman charge 5p a minute for me to call them I won’t do so, and as they are not responding to emails I will simply advise people think very carefully before dealing with them.

I read many reviews for the 3-in-1 3000w leaf blower vacuum & shredder, and it appeared to have good reviews, so I purchased mine. It arrived in packaging which looked like it had travelled around the world and been opened more than once before - corners bashed and multiple layers of packaging tape holding it all together. On opening the packaging all appeared to be in order initially, and as I unpacked the various parts which were neatly packed, I noticed that the clip that secures the 'Leaf Catcher' bag to the unit was broken rendering and the machine useless - disappointing to say the least - NOT good... I continued to unpack the remaining items, and these were AOK. I plugged in the Leaf Blower to check it was working and switched the power socket 'ON' and proceeded to switch 'ON' the Leaf Blower.... an immediate "BANG!!!" and a flash of flame was the response - NOT good.... On examining the products various accompanying parts in detail I observed the flimsy and very poor quality of these, surmising that 'This item was not fit to last very long, one or 2 uses at best - if it had worked. The parts were a poor fitting, bits that should not rattle 'Rattled' - and it did not even 'look the part' Alas, this was returned, and I paid some extra money to buy a robustly made Black & Decker product, similar to the one which had recently failed after 20 years of hard use and abuse. Fortunately, a full refund was made soon after returning the faulty goods, without any quibble.

I purchased an item which was, when it arrived, completely different to what they had advertised. Their website states they reply to emails within 24 hours yet I emailed them 3 times before I received my item and I am still waiting for a reply! I returned my item 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to be refunded. Terrible company and service, I would not recommend this company at all!

Ordered a cordless extendable hedge trimmer it eventually arrived but with no battery. I contacted customer service who said it was in small print on their web site that it comes without a the battery or charger. I asked could I order a battery and charger which she replied yes but then hit me with a price of £149.98 which was more expensive than the hedge trimmer itself. Rip off merchants stay well clear or you’ll be bitten

Do not use this company. I ordered a Paddington station clock 25 cms wide for £24:99. The item was seemingly not in stock ,although no contact was sent to advise. I twice asked for my money back with no success and once my email confirmation photo was removed the price on there website for this item suddenly went up to £39:99 with stock arriving soon. Low and behold a clock did arrive only 12 cms wide, four weeks later.They think they are cute but the “ amended description” for the £39:99 clock states Roman numerals where new cheap version is numeric numerals. Do not buy from this company.

Dreadful company - sad as a few years ago I rated them highly so what's happened I wonder? I should have thought twice when I called the sales line and they did not know the answers to my simple questions. Once ordered, my item did not arrive and I had to chase them several times getting emails back saying wait 7 days - I pointed out it was already 7 days and still no delivery. Eventually action and I had my item the following day. Old fashioned customer service or just incompetence - I dont know but I cannot now recommend Eckman.

Bought their electric hedge trimmer which boasts it is a lightweight 3.8k. try hanging a 3.8kilo weight on the end of a 9.2 foot pole and tell me it's lightweight! I noted that in their videos and photos the user has it resting on the hedge!

My leaf blower went wrong , so Eckman quickly had it picked up and promised a replacement. A month later I’d heard nothing so I emailed them. They didn’t seem to know anything about it and asked for the couriers tracking number. I sent this and once received they said they’d send a replacement ASAP. 2 weeks later , still nothing , so I’ve given them until Monday to replace or I want a refund. However, judging by some of the reviews , I don’t hold out much hope of either!
