I've been with EDF for years & always paid quarterly due my financial situation, can't pay any other way, last year to remain on quarterly, I was forced to pay by DD , no problem, all set up bills came though via post & DD taken 10 days later. March 2024 I recieved so many summary letters no actual bill also these summary letters advised I had no DD set up, so called EDF 24th March so unhelpful advised no DD set up & my bills via email (paperless) that's a laugh, I must have since Dec 2023 ,recieved 30 letters , so was advised its automatically changes to email, no letter about something so important, advised post is my priority not email so changed back, also advised no quarterly bills either now, only monthly or get this, quarterly on there set up amout not usage , so you over pay throughout the year, EDF having your money, it's so wrong, especially with cost of living. I was so angry no one advised me of anything, so was advised my bills for quarter & paid on the app, raising a complaint on the 24th, I've heard nothing from EDF complaints do not care about there customers, I've called numerous time & its been emailed to complaints asking to call, also I raised a complaint on the 14th April via there Web, recieved acknowledgement of complaint still nothing, I can't pay monthly or quarterly on a set amount, bills now coming ,even advised legal action on £66 bill , I need to talk to someone that can help me .They really don't care about there customers, there lastest advert- busy doing nothing so true, you only see how good a company is when you need there help or to try & rectify issues.
