I am leaving EDF and i will say do not go with EDF they are thieves since June 2024 iv had a DRO ( debt relief order ) in place EDF are on that for both gas and electricity along with other companies to which all the others have obeyed the order and acted on it however EDF didn’t so I rang them to enquire why my meters were running out so quickly tgey told me that they are taking money from them to repay the debts on my meters so I told them I have a DRO they claimed they haven’t been made aware of that so I sent them a email with a copy of the order (which is a court order) while I was on the phone to them they acknowledged that they just received it from me and told me they will get it sorted however despite ringing them twice a week to see what is going on they still haven’t done anything about it and are pushing me further into debt with them so I have made them aware that what they are doing is in breach of a court order and as such breaking the law and are committing theft as such I now have got ombudsman involved and will be sending this to news agencies and will be claiming compensation from them as well as all the money they have stolen from me dating back to when the DRO was made
