Extremely poor customer support!
I had to leave Uk for short while and while I was outside of Uk I decided to terminate my business account with EE keeping my number still on pay as you go. Nobody told me if the termination happened while I was away, I will not be able to use my number AT ALL from outside of Uk until I returned (not even on roaming). I actually need to come back to the UK so then I can actually call them (any attempt to any free number to call them says:’these calls are banned!’. I had to call HMRC on an urgent matter and had to do it on extra huge costs from another non UK number only to be cut off as my credit ran out (as you know with HMRC waiting is more than 30 minutes). Why doesn’t EE care about their customers, why don’t they offer full info to them so we know when we make a decision? Also, why isn’t there a free online chat function so we can talk to someone? Spent more than 3 hours trying to find info on their website, community page, get on my account (which I also can’t access) and trying to get someone on their Facebook messenger page to help! To say I am beyond fuming is an understatement!
