Ian Jefferies
THIS IS A TRUE ACCOUNT OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH EE Right where do I start, this saga begins on the 29 June, first for the better news renewing my BT broadband package, (now) EE no problem and a fairly good price, while I was on the phone the sales man mentioned EE tv again the deal was cheaper than my current Sky package, I said when my sky contract runs out in December I’ll try that, here’s where it goes horribly wrong, I was told EE would buy the sky tv package out up to a value of £300 that was enough to cover penalty from Sky, anyway I took out the tv pack as well, to cut a long story short, the next day I discovered their buyout was for broadband only, and as I was well within the 14 day cooling off period cancelled the tv package, well here we are 11 July and the tv pack is still in place, not only that they have taken money out of my account despite saying the contract would be cancelled straight away, not the usual 28 days, I have lost count of how many phone calls I’ve made only to receive empty promises, my only move now as they are in breach of contract is to cancel my DD payments. I don’t like writing bad reviews, however in this case it’s justified, incompetence springs to mind
