In August 2024, we decided to buy a EE Business mobile contract. A few days after receiving the device, we attempted to register the SIM and register it for online billing. We found that we couldn't register anything and reached out for support by live chat and phone. We were told that we could register and wouldn't have access to online or app billing until 2025. There was no mention of this when we agreed to the contract, so we immediately raised this issue with EEs complaints team.
The executive complaints team kept on trying to avoid our communications and when they did reply it was a canned response, which we only found in our spam folder after some time.
After months of trying to get this resolved with absolutely no bills received, we found a default on our business credit file. The executive team didn't want to help and refused to correspond, so we had to escalate this issue to the Ombudsman. We are now non the wiser, we don't know what our balance is and we have no idea what we defaulted on as it's not been communicated.
I have to say this is by far one of the worst experiences in my life with a telecom.
I would not recommend any business to transact with EE Business based on this experience. It's not only harmful to your business as you never receive any invoices to pay, even after begging for them, it's extremely stressful. I cannot stress this enough... really think about it.
I know we're not the only one in this situation as others are reporting the same on various review sites. How can a organisation be expected to be paid if they don't send the invoices or provide access to them.
