I had the charger installed this week.
The installation was ok - the problems came when I tried to connect the smart phone app to the charger so I can manage the tarrif etc.
The installer handed me a leaflet when he left saying "there you go - its the techy bit"
I followed the instructions and tried to set up the app - it failed repeatably with an error about attachign to the cloud !
I called the installer who told me to call EO - wanted nothing to do with it
I called EO - they said installers fault - he should of done it for you - they wouldnt help me further
I called installer back - ignored call
I calleld Octopus Energy - who i had purchsed the unit off - they said they had no record of the unit or me !!! perhaps I shouldnt of paid eh!!
SO at a dead end I emailed every contact I could find on the website for Eo, Octopis and homezap the installer
Emma from EO took ownership and got me talkign to a good guy on techncial support only to tell me that I need to booost my wifi to where the charger is - I have very good wifi across my house and past the garage but I understand it may drop as outside - I have now had to purcahse a booster to try and get working - tried again whilst booster is right next to the charger and it still wont work or connect!
I have to say they whole experience from start to now has be rubbish - Honestly I wish I could of purcahsed another charger.
