I had a problem with my smart meter (rubbish ,don't get one ) not sending reading to EON also my indoor display doing funny things . Had a visit from an engineer who got the meter to communicate with EON Next . He told me he tried 3 new indoor displays but they were all faulty ! He, was going to take away my old display ( I had to ask for it back ) he told me it would no longer work .He told he would arrange for a replacement ,this has not happened . EON don't know anything about what this engineer did ! After many emails EON have told me the unit is only covered for 12 months despite the fact it was their so called engineer that broke it .Fed up with being lied too . If you want to deal with a competent and honest energy company this is not it . AVOID
