E.ON wiped all the credit on my account without any prior notification because they said there was a system error and they did not bill us enought for a 4 week period 2 years ago. We have a smart meter and they've had all the readings. They refused to give me my money back and said the regulated Ofcom rules on back billing do not apply as we were in credit. This is wrong, they refused to acknowledge their errors. Appalling company.
