I contacted Espresso Parts to try to find a part for a 40 year old Gaggia machine that has reliably made me 2 cups of coffee almost every day since I got it. The part in question was a solenoid coil. I contacted them with my initial question: will it work. They responded quickly with a correct answer. I ordered the part, with free shipping, and it arrived earlier than promised. I checked it against the older (different brand, company out of business), and it seemed a good fit. After installing and testing, it is indeed the fix I needed to keep old reliable functional.
