Good service from ecp themselves however the alternator I paid nearly £200 for was poor .
I was aware it was a reconditioned unit from ‘Lucas’ but really it was just a painted old unit that charges at 13.5 v at best with a crack in the metalwork and ridiculous amounts of swarf and old congealed engine oil in the attached oil pump . I mentioned it and was told sorry about that but that was it . Had I not desperately needed to get the vehicle back on the road I’d have returned it. I always thought Lucas was a better quality
