I have always received good service from Europarts but this time they let me down. The battery in my wife's Ford Focus was flat so I ordered a new battery on line. Collected it on 30th December on my way home from London. Tried to fit it the following morning but found it was too tall. Took it back to the High Wycombe branch. The assistant intially tried to persuade me that it was the right size after he looked up the dimensions on line. I showed him that it was defintely too tall using my tape measure. He then looked at the label on the battery and said with exasperation that I had been given the wrong battery. No apology. He managed to find another battery (this turned out to be cheaper as it had a 4 year warranty unlike the 5 year warranty on the first battery). I took it with me and fitted it to the car then drove it home (0.6 miles). That was New Years Eve, I next went to the car two days later to find that the battery was so flat I couldn't unlock the car. I took the battery out of the car and charged it fully with my CTek charger. Fortunately it seems to be OK now. Through no fault of my own I ended up having to make a return journey to the High Wycombe branch (31 miles in total) and didn't even receive an apology. I then found that the replacement battery I was given must have been sitting around and barely had any charge in it. As I said, very disappointing service and not what I expect from Europarts.
