So sad that with many things going excellently, this company chooses to ruin the experience at the end. Pick up my car in Rome, Car was beautiful, new, and awesome. Car worked flawlessly and all was great. I returned the car in Florence Italy. It was due back by noon as stated on my rental agreement. Althought difficult to find, I found the return location returned the car, and was told everything was great.
Later I recieved the receipt and was charged an extra day. I did return the car at 21 minutes after noon. I contacted them and was told that they have a 29 minute grace period so I thought I would be fine. But they then told me that I left the garage in Rome 15 minutes before noon so I was over the 29 minute grace period.
Only problem is my reciept said return car by 12:00 noon.
I returned it with more fuel that I left with, but they will not try to handle this in a fair way. Basically they only wanted to capitalize on a full day charge for an additional 7 minutes. Worst Customer service ever. Great car...... Horibble people in the billing department. Not even considering all the other add on charges.
Way to ruin a perfectly good experience.
