A complete scam. When I went to pick up the car in Dublin, Europacar required, required me to pay €52.00 a day for insurance or get a letter from my bank at 1:00 AM on a Sunday.
It would have added nearly $800
to my reservation. No indication of this anywhere. This is an outrage.
I got a Budget Rental for less than the €52.a day insurance. Never trust the price at Europacar, and avoid being scammed at the last minute.
