Avoid. Read this. My daughter bought a car from them between Xmas and new year. Salesmen assured her it’s been fully checked out with their comprehensive used car checks etc so she handed over her 14k and was told she would get delivery in a few days. Those few days passed and we heard nothing. Tried calling and emailing to find out what was happening but got no replies for about a week when we were told a warning light came on in the dash and they want to check it out. Another week passes and we hear nothing despite continually chasing them up. They have my daughters money stashed away and we are getting increasingly concerned. After almost a month of trying to get delivery of the car we were told they discovered it needed so much work done that it wouldn’t be worth them selling it so they are just going to auction it!! So clearly just lied about it having been thoroughly checked over prior to selling. What a joke. No help in finding another similar car on their database. They realised they weren’t getting a sale of this car and dropped my daughter like a hot potato. Totally uninterested. Then despite her transferring her money to them immediately when she bought the car she was told it will take three days for them to return her money. Sadly the salesmen at this evans halshaw give all car salesmen a bad name. It was like dealing with second hand car salesmen from way back in the 70s. Absolutely shockingly bad service. I would not trust this company one bit
