We wanted to protect the really nice woodgrain on our table, but we also wanted to be able to see it. We had to request a bit of help with sizing, and the support from exactmats was really responsive. We ordered a clear mat that was nice and thick. It fits well and is exactly what we wanted. It smelled a bit like plastic when it arrived, but it is plastic, so that was to be expected. It doesn't smell anymore.
