I got the mat to protect my antique dining table top. I ordered the one recommended for table tops and it is much thicker than I would like. It also is very hard to get it to lay flat after being rolled up and there are still folds or lines across it, it hasn't flattened out yet and its been a week. Also I live in a moist climate and because it doesn't really hug the tabletop moisture seems to gather underneath which isn't good for the table. For the price it's not what I thought it would be.
