Initially contacted Finance Advise Center for a mortgage enquiry as to whether I can obtain a mortgage with my credit history (a 2 year old default for a £250 credit card - which was settled)
Having great difficultly obtaining a mortgage FAC were able to turn the key and approved a mortgage on a short space of time.
Overall I am very happy with the service provided and would urge anybody who is finding obtaining a mortgage difficult to contact the FAC immediately as their service and products are just what are needed!
