An awful customer service experience. Ordered a Christmas hamper on 6th December as it was labeled as 'for dispatch on 16th December', which suited my needs. 16th came and went. Only on 18th Dec I received an email saying it was ready for dispatch, with a Yodel tracking link. Days then passed with no update to Yodel tracking - it was clear the hamper was still with BoroughBox. Emails to BoroughBox went unanswered until 22nd, confirming the hamper would be with me on the 23rd - at least 6 days late. By this time, BoroughBox had updated their website to explain they had disconnected their telephones and were ignoring their social media account! Absolute head in the sand approach, given that twitter was filling with complaints from customers who could not contact the company about their missing purchases. When my hamper arrived it had a packing note confirming it had been prepped on 16th December - why the delay in getting it to Yodel then! To add insult to injury, the hamper contained a jar of chutney which had been unsealed - lid was loose - and was seeping. Overall the hamper came in a nice but otherwise useless box but the contents really didn't represent value for money. Never again.
