I appreciate the current difficulties caused by covid (and possibly to an extent brexit). However I placed my order as a gift for a friend on the 14th December with the hope it'd get there by XMAS day. The usual shipping target was next day - the order wasn't going anywhere remote - although the general warning did say it may not make it for XMAS due to demand. Fair enough I thought. I got a call yesterday (6th Jan) saying they were just about ready to ship most of my order(?!?) - the rest would turn up next week!
Had a call from the gift recipient earlier. Most of my order turned up and he's actually really impressed with the contents. He just wasn't sure why they turned up randomly in January
I accept "next day shipping" has issues this year, but this was "next month delivery". Boroughbox might have been swamped, but it seems the shipping for my order started in 2021.
Summary - happy with the contents, but far from happy with the shipping.
