At my restaurant in Michigan I had a gyro that came in strip form that was much thicker and better taste than I received
Maybe my fault, not particularly excellent in quality, but service was great. I hope to find it again somewhere because this is just too thin and must use many more strips for my gyro sandwiches and dinners. Customers think it's OK. In Michigan I had customers that had been to Greece comment that my gyros were better than in Greece.....
