Well. Where do I start with this. I had an accident in January 2023 I was rear ended by another driver it’s now March 2023 and and it’s still not fixed. To their credit the initial call to them to report was very efficient and I received a hire car from auxilis (more on that shortly) within 2 days. I was told that the garage had been allocated within a week and had an initial call for photographs of the damage they were sent and I have not heard anything back. After a month the garage still had not contacted me and Ford refused to chase. After 6 phone calls I had to make a complaint which was taken and sent to the relevant department. The complaint was then closed and I was awarded compensation. No one spoke to me no one called me and my vehicle is still not fixed. A new garage has now been allocated and they want an excess sum. I was not made aware of this by Ford initially.
Now to Auxillis - I was promised a like for like swap by both the Ford insurer and the Auxillis person on the phone. Not a like for like swap. The veh is faulty but you can’t report it to them. Ford won’t deal on your behalf. I am a disabled vulnerable female with mobility issues who is now isolated from society.
