Say they will ring you then don't
charge excess when non fault
pass you from department to department to avoid having to do anything
I have toilet paper worth more than my insurance document and both have the same use now !”
“Don’t bother paying extra for a courtesy car!
Ford will tell you they can’t provide you with a courtesy car even if the repair garage can’t provide one. I paid in FULL for my insurance policy and never expected to hear such rubbish when I need a courtesy car.
To add, I’ve been waiting over 6 weeks PATIENTLY for my car parts! Still haven’t arrived and no update.
I’ve cancelled my policy and will never go back. Just hurry up with my repairs.

“Purchased the insurance warranty for an extra 5k and i brought my car to get the head board that wouldn't fold with the chair as well as the side piece to the drivers side is detaching itself , they said that the insurance does not cover any of them, and that it would be a $229 fee to replace each. I was appalled, why on earth would i pay out of pocket when i purchased warranty for an extra 5k for situations like these. I might as well have kept the 5k to get these two parts fixed and had a lot of extra money left in my pocket. This situation has made me very upset and I hope ford does better as well as everyone who reads this I hope this helped you decide on not paying extra because you will be giving your hard earned money to thief's that don't keep there word.”

“Awful experience - do not get insurance through ford insure!! I had an accident in May where another vehicle crashed into my car at standstill - purely their fault. Ford insure did not give me any advice regarding the matter, there were huge delays with repairing my vehicle and offering me a replacement vehicle (despite me calling every day). I ended up settling with the third party insurance and informing Ford Insure. 2 months after I've settled the claim, a claim advice team have now called saying they want to offer me a replacement vehicle and to fix my car, despite my car being placed as a 'write-off' by their own garage. They said they only received the claim by ford insure that day (July) . Ford Insure clearly don't know what they're doing as an insurance company.”
“There was minimal damage to my car. They took my car one month ago. They don't give my car back or repair it; I cannot talk to them; they do not answer the phones. If they answer, they don't know where my car is. They do not provide me with a courtesy car. We called them every day; we listened to the same music for almost one hour every day. They do nothing; I want my car back, whether damaged or not.”
“I've just arranged car insurance.paid my deposit but half an hour later changed my mind .cancelled the policy only to be charged £25 admin fee. How can this be when I'd only spoken to someone 30mins beforehand. Absolutely disgusted. Warning to anyone who takes out ins and changes their mind. I wish it was that easy for me to make £25. “Having been insured with Ford Insure for 2 years, my renewal quote was £502.03 , compared to £239.99 that I paid last year. There have been no changes to my policy, held my license for more than 25 years and have maximum no claims. After going on a compare website, there were more than 50 insurers that beat their quote by more than £150. I would definitely not recommend Ford Insure.”
“Well. Where do I start with this. I had an accident in January 2023 I was rear ended by another driver it’s now March 2023 and and it’s still not fixed. To their credit the initial call to them to report was very efficient and I received a hire car from auxilis (more on that shortly) within 2 days. I was told that the garage had been allocated within a week and had an initial call for photographs of the damage they were sent and I have not heard anything back. After a month the garage still had not contacted me and Ford refused to chase. After 6 phone calls I had to make a complaint which was taken and sent to the relevant department. The complaint was then closed and I was awarded compensation. No one spoke to me no one called me and my vehicle is still not fixed. A new garage has now been allocated and they want an excess sum. I was not made aware of this by Ford initially.
Now to Auxillis - I was promised a like for like swap by both the Ford insurer and the Auxillis person on the phone. Not a like for like swap. The veh is faulty but you can’t report it to them. Ford won’t deal on your behalf. I am a disabled vulnerable female with mobility issues who is now isolated from society.”
“Where do I start! Accident end of November (not my fault). Claims Team constantly busy spent hours in queues trying to sort out. Made a complaint over phone, still not dealt with. Today 16 Feb 2023 (Almost 3 months later) I've received an email advising me to contact Evans Halshaw to take it in for an estimate over in Leeds...I live in Halifax with a Ford garage just down the road, but no it has to go to Leeds. Absolutely no way am I trailing to Leeds with two grandchildren. They are adamant I have to. Have spoken to Customer Care Team who are sorry but unable to help. They need to put me through to Claims Team again. I've requested they call me. Oh no, that can't happen I was told they don't ring people back. Customer Care have now filled a form in for a call back but it can't be guaranteed! Is this a joke! BE WARNED..NEVER USE FORD INSURE! They are a nightmare!”
“Like most insurances, you take our money and all’s good until we make a claim! Major problems with the incompetency of Ford Insure. Hit from behind, a witness to the accident which we got a full statement from, so the other drivers Insurance would pay for repairs. But the many times we called Ford Insure, you constantly told us that you had not had any reply from the other drivers' Insurance Company. So, 2 months after our claim, we decided to call the other drivers Insurance Co, thankfully it was an American Company, so very efficient, who told us they had signed off on the claim weeks ago! stating that their client was completely at fault and they would be covering the total cost of repairs to our car. The incompetence and bad management at Ford Insure is the worst I have come across in my entire 50 years of life”
“Had an accident and had to claim back in May 2021. My insurance booked my repairs into Days Repair Centre in Garngoch, Swansea. It has been 8 months and they still haven't sent off any invoices, nor have I recieved my reinbursment for my excess I was told I had to pay- and later be refunded. My car also came back to me with new scratches on my brand new alloys, and little details missed- like my windscreen wash tube still being broken! The car was fixed but only with bare minimum efforts.
Ford Insurance (through Admiral) have made no efforts to chase up or help my case in any way either. It has been a back and fore battle between both companies, doing their work for them.
Hopefully I get this flattened out soon!”
“I've given 3 stars just because I didn't necessarily have a bad experience for the year I was insured by them however when it came to my renewal, they increased the price even though I hadn't made a claim. I shopped online for quotes and found several cheaper quotes so I decided to cancel the renewal. This is where the problem started, I tried to call Ford Insure multiple times but 'the lines are busier than usual' ok, fine, I'll look online for another way to cancel... apparently that's IMPOSSIBLE. I searched high and low for an email address and looked on the portal which also has no other way of cancelling except calling them and wasting the little free time that you get to yourself. I decided in the end to just cancel my direct debit on my bank, I thought this would cause them to call me eventually.... no, they sent me a letter about no DD being set up and that it could affect my credit score etc bla bla bla. In the end I had to call them and just wait whilst gritting my teeth. This was incredibly frustrating! PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER WAY OF CANCELLING. I'm a fair person so what I will say is that I had a windscreen replacement which was incredibly easy to sort through the portal and when I eventually got through on the phone to cancel my renewal the lady way friendly so I went easy as none of it is her fault. I have received my cancellation letter and NCB certificate within a day or two. :)”
“Avoid this company they didn't take out my direct debit last month so I agreed to double pay this month now they are asking for £700 for a missed payment which was there mistake none of the agents are helpful either absolutely disgusting!!!!”
