6 days before delivery date, we spent time choosing a lovely Thanksgiving cornucopia for our mom’s birthday close to the Fall holiday. Today, 2 days later, I started receiving emails about the item not being available and/or not being able to find a local florist to deliver. They could send it in an “award-winning gift box” thru FEDEX. We chose that option as we really wanted the Fall cornucopia from the website. They replied to my email that the cornucopia would be substituted and sent by FEDEX, but in a basic FTD box. What about the “award winning” box? I then saw that it was substituted for a strawberry swirl bouquet which looked nothing “fall” related cornucopia and cost LESS than what we ordered!! I’m curious to see if it’s delivered on time and what she actually receives… why would you have something online that isn’t actually available? Never again FTD.
