Recently purchased an Adeline Sideboard with next day delivery. The item arrived very well packaged. It took a lot of effort to get the item out, destroying much of the packaging in the process. The item was damaged inside. A dowel was sticking out the wood and was smashed around it. I asked for a replacement to be told it cannot be picked up until Wednesday, and i cant get a replacement until after (likely friday or following week). I got told to package it the best i could as it was no use to them (not easy as all the polystyrene was sellotaped before so had smashed while unwrapping and had to improvise with bubble wrap, plus box is a nightmare to retape).
I got no offer of a refund on the next day delivery, or a replacement offered before this date. Surely it would be easier to send a new one first and pick the other up at a later date or same time. Loved the first one i brought and the dining table, but this one has really let it all down. If someone buys "next day" delivery, its for a reason. Now have to take time off work or sit up (on nights) to wait for a pick up and delivery of another sideboard. Nice furniture but really disappointing service!!
EDIT: I Received a pick up date for Thursday now, however they are saying I won't hear from until the 28 about a replacement. Won't be using this company again. My next day item and changed to next bloody month. Avoid this company at all costs!!
