Only for the fact we had very specific dimensions to work with on both children’s rooms, we would NOT have ordered from furniture 123. We had issues with the delivery back in 2017 and again this time around this year – nothing has changed. The order was placed on 16/05/2020. It was continually pushed back, again and again. This was supposedly due to a supply delay from the manufacturers, however one of these items are no longer provided on the website. What has irked us the most is that there was NEVER any kind of personalised email or contact in a way of explanation or apology. Quite happy to take your money, but not prepared to get onto the phone/email to try and mediate a solution, offer a discount, alternative delivery arrangements etc. Nothing. Just an automated “your delivery date has changed” email. Utterly shocking customer service. Our child was having sleeping issues and needed to transfer from a cot bed to a single bed. He unnecessarily had months of sleeping on a mattress that was not suitable for his age or needs, and as stated, due to the size of the room, unfortunately furniture 123 was the only supplier to meet our needs. Would I order from them again? Absolutely only as a last-ditch resort. Quality? Just ok, doesn’t really reflect the price of what you paid, especially for the rough finishes on some of the cut wood. If any management is reading this take heed and rethink your procedures for dealing with customers and delays, because the lack of care we received was utterly abysmal - queries resolved in "under an hour" - not in our case.
