We purchased 8 Phoenix chairs during 2018, after 2 years and two months we noticed the chair material was peeling off, these chairs were not cheap and should have lasted at least 10 years before any wear would be noticeable especially as they have rarely been used. Having contacted customer support they stated chairs were out of warranty despite there being faulty material not fit for purpose used on these chairs. Since telephoning customer support all 8 chairs have deteriorated and potentially only fit for the skip.. Inhave contacted furniture village a second today who after much Persistency on my behalf in my behalf have escaped the complaint which I have been informed will generate a call from a supervisor on Monday 20th Sept. Will await to see their response , in my opinion if a retailer is doing their job correctly in providing reasonable customer care they should at least contact the manufacturer / supplier to explain the situation and then between themselves decide on the correct way to successfully resolve the issue. We await with bated breath!
